Confirmado el lanzamiento de ‘Martyr’ en Octubre
Parece que empiezan a confirmarse los rumores sobre esta canción de la que se habla desde antes del lanzamiento del último disco, 'Martyr for Love', que finalmente ha visto como su título cambia a 'Martyr'. Será lanzada a finales de Octubre como adelanto al recopilatorio que se editará un poco más tarde, posiblemente en Noviembre.
Según Fletch, es la mejor canción compuesta jamás por Martin L. Gore…a ver que nos depara. El single aparecerá en los tres formatos usuales; CD, LCD y XLCD o lo que es lo mismo, Single, Maxi y DVD.

Lisbon Concert Cancelled

The Depeche Mode concert scheduled for Lisbon's Alvalade Stadium on July 28 is cancelled, due to the serious financial difficulties of the promoter Jose Araujo's company Brand New Day.
Unfortunately this promoter failure makes it impossible for Depeche Mode to perform this Lisbon concert.
The Band apologize to disappointed fans.
Ticket holders are advised to seek advice on refunds from the point of purchase.

El concierto del DEPECHE MODE programado para el estadio de Alvalade de Lisboa el 28 de julio está cancelado, debido a las dificultades financieras serias del día brandnew de la compañía de Jose el Araujo del promotor. Desafortunadamente esta falta del promotor hace imposible para que DEPECHE MODE realice este concierto de Lisboa.La venda se disculpa a los ventiladores decepcionados.

Tal y como dijimos anteriormente, el concierto de Chicago ha tenido que ser cancelado debido al malestar de Dave. La fecha prevista para reanudar la gira si no surgen mas contratiempos es el día 13 de Mayo en Wantaugh, New York. El dinero de las entradas de Chicago se devolverá en los puntos de venta donde se pudieron comprar las entradas. Así mismo, Depeche Mode ofrece en su página oficial disculpas a los seguidores de Kansas y Chicago por las molestias causadas.
DAVE GAHAN SE EMFERMO EN UN CONCIERTO DE KANSAS CITY
El concierto de Depeche Mode en Kansas City tuvo que ser interrumpido la pasada noche debido a que Dave estaba padeciendo una severa infección estomacal [ACT. 12-5-2006: Según informa la web oficial, Dave está enfermo de Laringitis]. El show continúo con Martin tocando 6 canciones. Dave Gahan, que cumplió 44 años justo el día anterior, tuvo que dejar el escenario repentinamente mientras cantaba “Stripped” por una fuerte infección que contrajo en su parada en México para 3 de sus actuaciones. Dave aguanto 6 canciones, después de las cuales no pudo seguir.
Posteriormente tuvo que ser llevado al hospital. Martin volvió al escenario para intentar seguir con el abreviado show, interpretando otras 6 canciones incluyendo “Leave in Silence”, la cual no había sido tocada en USA durante 2 décadas. La actuación se cortó cuando estaban empezando “In Your Room” ya que Dave no aparecia, Martín dijo al público que debían parar por dificultades técnicas sin saber realmente lo que ocurría. Después de que Martín cantara “Leave in Silence” alguien de la organización salió para comunicar que no podían seguir la actuación porque habían perdido a Dave, entonces Fletch puntualizó que Dave tenía una emergencia medica, pero que intentarían seguir con el show
Como puede afectar esto al show de esta noche en Chicago aun no se sabe. Esperemos lo mejor para Dave y una pronta recuperación.

Se conocen detalles del cuarto single de Playing The Angel, John The Revelator, que incluirá remezclas de Tiefschwarz, Murk, Unkle o Boosta. A falta de una nueva cara B, se incluye Lilian en versiones single y remezclas. Además, la versión Bare de Nothing's Impossible.
Open Air 2006 comenzó hace unos días y se van conociendo algunos detalles de los conciertos. El grupo ha reducido el número de temas a la la veintena y realizado algunos cambios. En esta última etapa interpretarán temas como Stripped, Blue Dress o el clásico Photographic.
